Official Ribbon Cutting and Connecticut Xpo 2005
When: June 2
What: More than 5,000 visitors and invited guests are expected to watch Gov. M. Jodi Rell cut a ribbon, officially opening the doors of the Connecticut Convention Center for the first time. Following the ribbon cutting is the Connecticut Xpo 2005 for Business featuring more than 420 exhibitors, making it the largest business show of its kind in New England.

Open House
When: June 5
What: State and city residents are invited to take a tour of the Northeast’s next great convention center. The day will feature free activities staged to highlight the building’s unique design and showcase the city and state’s many attractions.
